Your roof insurance claim, one step at a time

Insurance claim guidance is a core part of how we work. Here is the process, and where we help along the way.

The claim, explained

What a roof claim usually involves

Every insurer is different, so read your own policy. This is the general shape.

  1. Protect the house

Keep water out first. We offer emergency tarping 24/7. Take photos of the damage before and after the tarp goes on.

  2. Get a free inspection

We look at the roof and tell you whether we see storm or hail damage and what it means. This gives you facts before you call your insurer.

  3. File the claim

You contact your insurance company. We explain what the process looks like and what information they will ask for.

  4. Meet the adjuster

Your insurer sends an adjuster to look at the roof. We help you know what to point out and what questions to ask.

  5. Review the decision

Once you hear back, we go over what it means for repair or replacement, in plain language and with no pressure.

  6. Do the work

We repair or replace the roof with our own crew. Full replacements carry a 10-year workmanship warranty.

Why we help with the paperwork side

Most homeowners have never filed a roof claim, and the process can feel like a language you were never taught. We have been roofing in Columbus since 1994, and walking people through it is part of the job.

We guide. We do not make promises about your insurer. Your policy and your insurer decide the outcome, and we will always say so.

Claim questions we hear often

Do I have to use you if I file a claim?

The choice of contractor is yours. We offer guidance and a free inspection, and you decide who does the work.

Does the inspection cost anything?

No. The inspection is free.

Will you tell me if there is no storm damage?

Yes. We would rather give you an honest answer than a claim that goes nowhere.

Can you promise what my insurer will pay?

No contractor can. Your insurer decides the outcome of your claim. We help you understand the process and document what is on your roof.

Not sure where to start with your claim?

Begin with a free inspection. It gives you facts about your roof before you pick up the phone to your insurer.
